Projecting political identities through fashion, in times of economic and ecological uncertainties
is a live interactive art performance inspired by catwalks and focused on self-expression, making and performance, taking place in a recently closed supermarket. The foreign investment (FI) event was directed by Alma Tischlerwood and Rosemary Cronin in collaboration with students LCF, Oxford St and Dr Francesco Mazzarella. In addition to the visual aspects, we ask questions about self-parody, self-harm (Brexit) and self-aggrandisement through the polite medium of fashion.
